Ananthabhadram

Genre        : Mystery
Cast           :Prithvi Raj, Kavya Madhavan,                                                                                                   Riya Sen, Kalabhavn Mani, Nedumudi Venu.
Director     : Santhosh Sivan
Language : Malayalam
Storyline   : an US return finds himself in the middle of love and a battle between good and evil.
Comments: worth a try.
Ananthan returns to Kerala  to fullfill his mother's last wish to dissolve his mother's cremated remains in her mother land's waters and discovers that the stories that his mother told him once were not just fairy tales!!  When a evil wizard tries to grab the most valuable gem protected by the lord "nagam" by sacrificing the life of a virgin and bring back his dead love to life,  Ananthan is left with no other choice but to try to stop the evil. Sadly, Ananthan feels himself drawn towards " the one  supposed to be devoted to god and soon to be a goddess herself"- Badhra. Badhra is supposed to protect the lives of her tribe, thereafter. Love plays havoc in their life. Will he win over the obviously hateful and possibly 'super extra' powerful wizard and save the life of the victim involved in the process? Will he be able to save his love? Or  will he simply return to where he came from instead of meddling with trouble? Discover the rest on your own.
The make-up artist is to be appreciated  especially for his work in the song sequence "Pinakkamano". The director has done a fair job to the complex script and presented it in an appealing manner. Go for it if you are intrigued by myth and magic.
Adios folks!

Comments: Roll with laughter through out the movie.

Genre         :  Comedy
Cast           :  Kamal Hasan, Meena, Gemini Ganesan, Nagesh.
Director     : K.S.Ravikumar.
Language  :  Tamil
Storyline    : Well, its a remake. Same story line!
Comments : Laughter unleashed
 Mrs.Doubtfire:
David Hillard was not steady on a single job which drives his wife crazy and leads to a divorce. But David misses his three children and wishes to see them everyday. So he steps into the shoes of a babysitter and maid. Robin Williams dressed up as a old lady succeeded in his attempt to make the viewers roll with laughter. The best part is where he tries to make dinner on his first day at his new work.

 Avvai Shanmugi:
Though the story line is same, there are few changes made to suit the Tamil Viewers. It is not exact xerox copy of the former. The writer's creativity is also included in the story.

The"dude lookin' like a lady" and "Vela vela" songs in the respective movies are catchy.
